Here’s a little secret a lot of people don’t know about my drawings… They’re all drawn with a mouse. When I started to draw with a computer about 10 years ago I used to take a photo of my drawings and then retouch them, making the lines bolder and erasing all of the noise and unwanted bits. Nowadays I tend to skip that process and draw straight into the computer using a mouse. The mouse has been my pencil for several years now but I still carry my bags of sketchbooks from house to house to remind myself of where all the madness came from. Saying that, I do have a little scribble every now and then to ensure I don’t forget how to draw using an actual pencil. I have an open-book approach to my work now but pretty much treat Instagram as my sketchbook.
Everybody loves animals, whether to pet or to eat. For me they’re one of the best things to draw because they have so much character, and they’re also highly relatable too.
People have made and destroyed the planet we live on. Some people are more famous than others, but not always happier. I’m happy, how are you?
Food has always been on the menu from day one.
Without buildings we wouldn’t need builders or architects. We do have buildings though so we need both.
Since studying Fine Art I’ve always had a place in my heart for the great Surrealists who have melted and twisted the way we perceive things. In fact, a lot of the stuff I draw could fall into this category.
